ROADWORKS DETOUR
Southend to Beachport is closed for much needed works. This detour is ONLY in place Mon-Fri from 7am - 5pm. The road is otherwise open, with several 40km/ph limit areas.
GOOGLE MAPS HAS NOW UPDATED DETOUR INFO
FROM VIC / MT GAMBIER / MILLICENT WAY - traffic is NOT effected by the detour, you can drive straight to Southend as usual.
FROM ROBE - Please look closely at the detour traffic, I would recommend adding HATHERLEIGH into google maps, THEN Southend from there.
BEACHPORT way (AND BACK)- see map. I recommend google directions to HATHERLEIGH first, then your destination.
THE BEACH TRACK to Beachport is possible, but with recent weather I would recommend experienced 4X4 drivers, have recovery equipment, check conditions and do a tag-along with a mate.
